We have worked hard for almost 53 years to offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of utility construction, and excavating services, including earth moving, land clearing, and demolition. We have broad experience in stormwater drainage, water lines, sanitary lines, and stormwater retention.

We are currently seeking a detail oriented and motivated individual for our Estimator/Project Manager position. The ideal candidate must be a positive, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-talk in a fast-paced environment.

JOB DUTIES:

• Be responsible for the overall project including cost, schedule, quality, safety and promoting a good relationship with the client.
• Be willing to make site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality control and adherence to project plans and specifications
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues and conflicts, implementing effective solutions and contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to senior management while also identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, and facilitate necessary inspections and approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources
• Use the company's computer system, records, files, and programs for estimating and project management, as needed.
• Be able to work within tight time restraints to quickly place bids on jobs or help determine the cost feasibility.
• Work with superintendents, review daily job reports, assist with identifying site-specific safety concerns
• Manage day to day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Be able to read primarily civil plan sets
• Can perform take-offs of plans to quantify scope of work
• Can request quotes from vendors and subcontractors to prepare estimates

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 years of age required.
• Knowledge of essential job skills and responsibilities
• Strong computer skills such as Microsoft office, Microsoft project, Bluebeam, Procore and more.
• Financial and Job cost Accounting Knowledge
• 3 years of estimating or project management experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Can pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans, budgets and schedules
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Work Hours: Full-Time position – Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm

Expected hours: 50 per week

Pay: $80,000 - $110,000 per year- Salary based on experience
